1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Evo at evo.blue (the "Service"), operated by Evo ("we", "us"). By requesting access, creating or activating an account, or using a policy assistant link, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Evo lets insurance agents publish AI-powered assistants that answer questions about a specific insurance policy, grounded in the policy document the agent uploads. The Service is currently offered as a private beta and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.
3. Results are best effort
Answers produced by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided on a best-effort, "as is" and "as available" basis. While answers are grounded in the uploaded policy document, they may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. AI-generated answers are:
- not insurance, legal, or financial advice;
- not a substitute for the policy document itself — if an answer conflicts with the policy, the policy controls;
- not a coverage determination, quote, or promise to pay any claim.
Always confirm important coverage questions with your agent or insurer before relying on them.
4. Third-party AI providers
Answers are generated by large language models operated by third-party providers. We do not control the output of these third-party models and are not responsible for the content they generate. Model behavior may change without notice, and despite the grounding measures we apply, a model may occasionally produce incorrect or unexpected content. Your use of the Service acknowledges and accepts this.
5. Accounts and acceptable use
- Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Agents must have the right to upload the policy documents and client information they enter, and are responsible for that content.
- Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to probe or disrupt it, no automated scraping, and no sharing of assistant links beyond the client they were issued for.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and process that content solely to operate the Service — for example, indexing a policy document so its assistant can answer questions about it. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the same extent, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated answers, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or US $100 if you have paid nothing).
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access (including individual assistant links) at any time, particularly for breach of these Terms. Sections 3, 4, 6, and 7 survive termination.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated to account holders. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
